Half a quantum is a site dedicated to simplifying the principles of Quantum Mechanics and other esoteric sciences. The reason for this was a sudden realization that quantum theory dates back to 1838...and if you ask someone about quantum physics, the answer is probably something like "I don't know anything about quantum physics."
Why is it that a science that saw the fruits begin to grow in the early 20th century, a hundred years later still has very little idea of what it actually is?
One reason is that the very concept of quanta is so simple that it is very difficult to explain. Einstein had some very good stories to explain some things. And that is what is needed in the pursuit of quanta - stories that explain how they work in real life possibilities.
